JaJuMa Auto Select Options Extension will help you to take the user experience in your Magento 2 store to another level.
Spare your customers to select configurable and custom options on every product and repeatedly.
Instead, automatically preselect exactly the options the customer is looking for, based on his previous selections.
The extension leverages Browser local storage. By this, even when the browser gets closed and customer come back some time later, customer's previous selection are still remembered and magically applied again.
Configurable Options can be auto selected based on following rules and priorities:
1. First available option (Optional, if enabled):
When a customer comes to a product page with configurable options, the first available options will be automatically selected.
Auto selection of first available options are overruled by selections by Super Attribute / per SKU:
2. By Super Attribute (Optional, as configured):
For "Super Attributes", the last selected option for this attribute by customer will be remembered and applied globally to any SKU with the same configurable option.
Selections remembered for a Super Attribute are overruled by selections per SKU:
3. Per SKU
(Default, always enabled):
Configurable option selections by customer for a certain SKU are remembered and automatically re-applied when customer come back to this SKU.
Auto selections based on previous selections by customer per SKU have the highest priority and are always applied if available.
Custom Options Auto Selection:
Auto selection for Custom Options is only supported by SKU, based on previous selection of customer for the same SKU.
Supported Custom Option types for auto selection:
- Drop-Down
- Radio
- Checkbox
Additionally, customer inputs in custom options type:
- Text Field &
- Text Area
are remembered per SKU and automatically input again when customer come back to same SKU.

Step 1a:
John visits product page Kenobi Trail Jacket
→ First available options are auto-selected
Step 1b:
His size is "L" and he likes "blue"
→ John selects size “L” and color “blue"
Step 2:
John visits product page Proteus Fitness Jackshirt
→ Size “L” and color “blue” auto-selected as
previously selected for super attributes
Step 3a:
John visits product page Neve Studio Dance
Jacket for his wife
→ Size “L” and color “blue” auto-selected as
previously selected for super attributes
Step 3b:
His wife has size "S" and prefers "orange"
→ John selects size “S” and color “orange"
for his wife
