Q: Will this extension work with my custom theme?

A: Yes. The extension is designed for maximum compatibility. For themes that do not follow the standard Luma or Hyvä grid structure, you can use the Custom option in the Grid System configuration. This allows you to specify the exact HTML tags and CSS classes your theme uses for its product grid, ensuring a perfect integration. See the Configuration Guide for details.

Q: Why are my "Grid Item" callouts not appearing when I switch to list view mode on a category page?

A: This is by design. The "Grid Item" type is specifically engineered to integrate into the product grid layout. To maintain a clean and logical user experience in list view, these items are automatically hidden. "Banner" type callouts, however, will still be displayed in list view as they exist between rows, not within them.

Q: Can I schedule a callout to run for a specific period, like a holiday sale?

A: While the extension does not have a built-in scheduler, the standard workflow is to set the callout's Status to Enabled at the start of the promotion and Disabled at the end. You can prepare seasonal callouts in advance and leave them disabled until they are needed.

Problem:
My callouts disappear after a user applies a filter (e.g., color, price) on the category page.

Why it happens:
This is a common scenario on Magento sites that use AJAX for layered navigation filtering. When an AJAX request reloads the product grid, it replaces the existing HTML, which can remove the content dynamically added by our extension.

Solution:
To solve this, our extension provides two custom JavaScript events that your theme developer can use to re-initialize the callouts after an AJAX call completes.

After your theme's AJAX call successfully completes and updates the product grid DOM, you must trigger the appropriate event on the document.body.

To refresh Banner type callouts:

document.body.dispatchEvent(new Event('jajuma:categorycallout:reinitbanner'));

To refresh Grid Item type callouts:

document.body.dispatchEvent(new Event('jajuma:categorycallout:reinitgriditem'));
