This is where the real power of the JaJuMa Customer Satisfaction Feedback extension comes to life.
Navigate to
JaJuMa -> Customer Satisfaction Feedback -> Customer Satisfaction Feedback Forms
and click "Add New Form" to begin. Each form can be customized for a specific purpose or location on your site, allowing you to ask the right questions to the right customers at the right time.

⚙️ 3.1 Main Form Settings

  • Enable / Disable Form: The master switch for this specific form. Set to Enabled to make it active.
  • Store View: Assign the form to a specific store view, allowing you to ask different questions for different languages or regions.

📍 3.2 Choosing Where to Display the Form

You have three powerful methods to control form placement/jajuma-develop/magento-extensions/:

  1. Magento Default Layouts:
    The easiest method. Simply select a layout from the "Form in Layout" dropdown
    (e.g., Homepage, Product Page, Cart).
  2. Custom Page Layouts:
    For developers. Select Custom Page and enter the full action name of the layout in the Custom Layout field
    (e.g., cms_index_index for the homepage).
  3. Specific URL Paths:
    The most granular control. Enter one or more URL paths in the URL Path(s) field.

💡 Pro Tip:
The URL Path(s) field supports Regular Expressions (RegEx) for advanced targeting. RegEx is a powerful pattern-matching language that lets you target entire groups of pages, like all product pages within a specific category. For example, men/tops-men/.* would target all pages within that path. You can test your patterns using a free online tool like regex101.com.

⚠️ Warning:
Forms added via URL Path(s) will override any forms configured for the same page via the Layout setting.

💻 3.3 Form Position: Above Footer vs. Popup

  • Above Footer:
    The default, less intrusive option. The form will appear just above your site's footer.
  • In PopUp:
    A more attention-grabbing method. The form will appear in a popup overlay.
    • Show Popup after X Seconds:
      Control the timing to avoid interrupting the user immediately. A delay of 5-10 seconds is often effective.
    • Popup Reappear After (Days):
      To avoid annoying repeat visitors, this setting uses a browser cookie to prevent the popup from showing again to the same user for the specified number of days. This is crucial for a positive user experience.

  • Vote / Survey Text:
    The main question you want to ask the customer
    (e.g., "How was your shopping experience today?").

These texts control the second and third steps of the feedback flow, guiding the user from a simple vote to detailed feedback.

  • Vote Feedback Texts:
    The message shown immediately after a user votes. You can configure a different message for each possible vote
    (e.g., a unique message for a "Thumb Up" vs. a "Thumb Down," or for a 1-star vs. a 5-star rating).
