This section contains the primary controls for activating the JaJuMa Real User Monitoring (RUM) extension for Magento 2 and managing its logging capabilities.
These are the first settings to review after installation.

3.1 🔗 Enable Real User Monitoring

This setting is the master switch that controls all functionality of the extension.

Why this matters:
Before enabling this on a live production site, it is highly recommended to review and configure all other settings, particularly those in the Data Collection and Automation sections. This ensures that data is collected and processed according to your specific performance and resource requirements.

3.2 📄 Enable Log File

This setting controls the extension's debug logging behavior.

Why this matters:
The log file is a critical tool for troubleshooting.
If you encounter unexpected behavior or need to verify that cron jobs are executing correctly, enabling this option will provide valuable information.
The log file can be found at:

var/log/jajuma_rum.log

💡 Pro Tip:
It is best practice to keep logging disabled on a production environment to conserve disk space and avoid unnecessary I/O operations.
Only enable it when you are actively diagnosing a specific issue.
You can also download the log file directly from the Maintenance section of the configuration.
